And a 20-minute remix of "Baby Can You Dig Your Man"

In My Arms Instead - Randy Rogers Band
(Turn it on this November and stick around for the violin at the end.)

Honestly, no. They've never stuck a chord in my soul that made me able to stick around. Ditto for Radiohead. Just not my thing.

No, I didn't articulate myself well. Maybe two other imperfect ways to frame my frustration it would be:
1. How many of the acts listed here would fill a stadium? Not that that's an objective measure of quality, but certainly of general pop culture awareness.

Yeah I'm getting old, but the fact that none of the staff pics are anywhere on my radar seems like a perfect summation of the negative changes at this site over the past few years. Doesn't it seem like every musical discussion on here tries too hard to be obscure/indie all the damn time?

There's something so quintessentially LOST about the way single notes were used on that show. I re-watched some episodes lately and the way music is used on that show just takes me back instantly to the heyday of that show.

From Oasis, I'll offer up "Don't Go Away" - I love the whole thing but the guitar at the end just leaves me wanting so much more.

This is what happens when we start naming people Gunnar! (I know he's not the main culprit.)

I can't wait for Super Bowl LXWXNXAXNX!

L'hawk-sa-wahnnah?
[Swing and a miss!]

Fair point, but with ST film titles, it's not like there's much creativity required:
The "Motion" Picture
The Wrath of ________
The Search for ________
The Voyage ________
The Final ________
Generations
First Contact
Something ending in 'rection
Into Darkness

Again… advice I should have taken in college.

"He should've just gone ahead and nailed that chick who was really a monster. That was his best shot at anything."

So, no Romulan Ale then? Or is it just real alcohol that can't be depicted?

There's your show title right there.

This is logistically preposterous, but I really loved how Tyrion treated Sansa. Him coming back to help her again would be awesome in a way.

Her old lady face looked alarmingly like Pryat Pree in this episode. It freaked me the hell out.

Also, pine forests.

Children DO learn!

Because Pluto is a bitch name and so whoever named it must also be a bitch. #Science
