This guy is starting Phase 3 of his kitchen remodel. I'm pulling all the cabinet doors and drawers to send off for professional sanding/painting. While they're gone, I'll be doing the cabinets myself. Bring on the suck!

Ugh, I still haven't finished Mass Effect 3. I took a break when my son was born and now it feels like I'll never get back into it. (Please, no spoilers! Amazingly, I've managed to avoid them so far.)
I need to replace the headlight bulb in my Mazda3 tonight and I'm genuinely frustrated at the prospect of even starting. I've done it several times before but that damn car is like a freaking Macbook Air under the hood - no room for maintenance at all. Last time I did it, I ended up scraping my knuckles all to hell.
The soup guy!?!?!?

Those airblade hand dryers are basically as disgusting as the urinals across the room if you ask me.
I think bdawgxl's write-up is pretty solid. I'm in my mid-30's, got married 5 years ago and while I'm no longer in the scene, I've had time to reflect on the stark contrast between my adolescent relationships (platonic, friend-zone, etc.) and my 20's (lots of fun, many dates, eventual love.)
Yee Yee, I miss your old avatar. Just wanted you to know.
Wait! wait! There was a 3rd season of Joe Schmo!?!?!?!? How did I miss this?
I remember the day Vitalogy was released. It was cold and maybe even snowy in Cedar Rapids. I raced to Best Buy after school worried that they'd sell out after the success of Vs. The packaging was a bit odd, but so was Vs. and that's just part of Pearl Jam not selling out to the man, right? A strong opening track…
Is the album redundant? I bought Swing When You're Winning and am embarrassed by it now. (Though it was a valuable gateway into the original versions.)
A sweet tune for jogging, FWIW.
I loved that video back in '98. I was studying abroad in Italy and it was on constantly. That and a song called, "You don't know me" by Ke - also a solid album that never made it stateside.
It's a damn shame, how far down folks will have to scroll to read this.
The original has an amazing bongo drum part that rolls through the… bridge(?) of the song. Check it out and let go of your hatred. The song's a trip and will surely make an impact at your next BBQ or autumn bonfire.

Hear hear! I call 'em "flu pants" as that's the only justification for them. And if you put anything heavier than a throat lozenge in the pockets, you and me got problems.
A talk radio sidekick in Minneapolis made up awesome lyrics to the tune of National Geographic's Theme Song:
My in-laws have, for years, asked me if I watch "FoxNews". I don't have cable and I've explained it to them several times before. Yet still, they come to visit and he channel surfs looking for "FoxNews".
For four years, I never even tried to answer a math question during Quiz Bowl. Instead, I would start counting as soon as the question was read. If it looked like our resident math guy wasn't going to get it, I'd ring in just before the buzzer and say, "The answer is… four?" like Rodney Dangerfield in Back to School.…
