I'll bite. Casino Royal (the new version) was absolutely stunning. When it came out on DVD, I was as excited to own that sequence as I was to own the parkour chase. Years later, the title sequence wins.

Was the quest about the tower or about the ka-tet. If the Tower, then Roland is his own hero, and everyone else knew what they were in for. If Ka-tet, then he's a bastard who deserves all of it.

It did get old. Very old. But I think Rowling tried to get the reader to see that a big chunk of his whining was because he DIDN'T want his friends dying for him. That never changed the fact that they would, but Harry went "on the record" a few times about how much that bothered him.

So much so, that I can't stand Jason Schwartzman (sp?) by extension. I find him as slappable as King Joffrey.

I really enjoyed this show. I instantly added it to my DVR schedule and Hulu favorites. Hearing that it might not survive is awful news. At the very least, I want to see how the remodel finishes.
