Con Air is NOTHING like a Michael Bay movie. There's that overblown Bruckheimer stupidity,of course but It's a more eccentric sort of movie. I'm assuming that Simon West gave his actors a lot of freedom to create quirky characters and Scott Rosenborg's script is just hilarious. You usually don't get movies like that.

Transformers has some of the best CGI in the business that even movies like 'The Avengers' can't hope to match. The robot on robot fights actually have a lot of weight to them. Or at least the third one did. I also thought that the 3D was spectacular.
