Yup. 'Punch Drunk Love' is proof, if any that he can turn $hit into gold.

Well, if you're going into Marvel movies for the plot, it's probably your mistake then.

Considering he's been playing the same fucking character for 7-8 years now, it's getting tiresome and it's time to give it a rest.

I meant as a storyteller. TDKR is a marvel of storytelling. TDKSA on the other hand is like a bad acid trip.

Oh, I meant it as the highest of praise. Being a credible leading man is a massive achievement. Probably even more impressive than a good character actor. I'm totally in the Pitt fanclub.

Thanks for reminding me of my hate for TDKSA. Miller never really recovered after he lost his marbles, did he??

Yup. 'Returns' looks like '12 Angry men' compared to 'Man of Steel'.

That shot was totally uncalled for and inappropriate in that movie.Way to kick 'em when they're down.

Pitt is more of a 'Great leading man' than a 'great actor'. Which is to say that he's an extremely, presentable, marketable matinee idol with a good amount of acting talent and interesting choice of roles.

Everybody else got famous but it killed the career of the actor who was the lead. How bizarre.

I still find it amusing that Bay made a movie about a national tragedy into a summer popcorn movie. At least give him credit for that.

So has Gary Oldman's jew-bashing permanently entered the pop culture, internet lexicon? Like Billy Bob Thornton's "Would you ask Tom petty that?" or "Spike Lee tweets……"?? I've seen it popping up a lot on the AV club.

As someone who enjoyed parts 1 and 3 but hated 2, do you think I should see this? I'm genuinely curious.

Maybe. I got to fool around with real tits around 10 years after that so everything worked out in the end.

The Black,Zahn and R. Lee Ermey bits are absolutely hilarious. The 'wedding' scene at the end makes me crack up so hard. Rest of the movie is just OK though.

And there's barely any kung-fu in it.

The Rundown is such a fun movie! One that takes complete advantage of The Rock's screen presence. I also love the 'have fun' schwarzenegger cameo that was sort of implying a passing of the torch of action superstars.

And it's flat out one of the funniest movies ever made and right up there with Farrelly bros. best movies. It's one laugh after another non stop in that movie with plenty of excellent visual gags before Edgar Wright even came on the scene.

You didn't like 'Saving Silverman'??

American Wedding was the first time I ever saw tits in a movie. I was like 9 years old at the time and it was my first R-rated movie so I do remember that fondly.
