Well, if 70 year olds can 'kick ass' in the Expendables movies, I don't see how this one is a stretch.

How the fuck is con air any of those things? Cage actually defends a woman's honor in that thing. Bad Boys 2 treats women like playthings and objects.
Well, I just praised the movie in my earlier post. But even you've got to admit, it's not for everybody. A lot of shit in that movie rubs people (especially critics) the wrong way.
Why the fuck are you getting on my case for? I said I liked 'Bad Boys 2'.
Bad Boys is all it's racist/sexist/homophobic/hateful glory remains one of the most jaw dropping action experiences you will ever see. It's empty, soulless, cynical and abhorrent but boy is it something to behold, even if you hate it.
I swear to god everytime I watch 'Begins' , I have to fast forward her parts to get to the good stuff. She's probably the ONLY bad performance that has ever been in a Nolan film. He usually gets so much from his actors.
We're trying our best to. But Mark Wahlberg won't let us.
Titanic is a legitimate piece of great filmmaking with great performances, splendid visuals ,once-in-a- lifetime chemistry between leads and technological wonders to spare. The scoffing it unfortunately receives is because It's a victim of it's own success. It just got TOO popular..
They're not good 'films' by any means but I still chuckle when Pfieffer in his leather outfit licks keaton's face. It's almost as if the costume designer of these movies worked at a sex club or something.
Even if whatever Snyder and Goyer are cooking up turns out to be moronic hogwash, I don't really need a JLA movie. The definitive JLA has already been made in the DCAU. I could not ask for anything more.
Chris Nolan earned them a lot of Goodwill and Prestige with his TDK trilogy. Had he left after 'Begins', WB would have made it into another shitty,cash-grab, 'Hobbit'-level clusterfuck that would have killed the franchise all over again. No one over there has any idea on how to make quality franchise movies.
Duncan Jones is directing it. It might be good. Or the biggest clusterfuck ever. Who knows.
I know this is off topic but I want to declare my love for Paula Patton's breasts after seeing '2 Guns'. Those really saved the movie for me.
Maybe. But Whittaker still seems like a major catch and is, IMO a great actor.
If Brad Bird could make the jump from Animation to Live-action successfully ,then so could Bruce Timm. Of course, WB are too stupid to realize that.
The DCAU from Batman:TAS to Justice League was my fanboy dream come true. If anything, Bruce Timm should have been making DC movies post-Nolan instead of Zack Snyder.
But you have to admit, even though Burton disrespected and pissed all over the source material, he drew INCREDIBLE performances from his actors. Especially Pfieffer, who to this day I prefer over Anne Hathaway (who was also awesome).
Reese Witherspoon seems to be getting her act together these days. Especially after the shellacking she received for 'This means war'.
I sometimes wonder whether Jennifer Lawrence is just 'the flavor of the month' fad or someone with real potential and staying power. Her public persona was endearing at first but now it's starting to get grating.
The reader is awful. That spot should have gone to the Dark Knight instead.
