Now that we've moved onto SCDP and SC&P, boy are those early seasons kinda tough to watch. The mid-to-late 60s are so eventful and visually interesting, and the early years are just so bland. These later seasons are full of gorgeous sets and amazing cinematography, and those earlier seasons had much less to show off.

You'll notice that just about every great show can be a great drama and a great comedy. Mad Men, The Wire, The Sopranos, and Breaking Bad can all be hilarious. Arrested Development, The Office, Freaks and Geeks, Louie, and hell, even Archer can hit really nice dramatic moments.
