It's apparent that the SNL writers got a hold of this episode. That final scene was too reminiscent of that sketch for it to be a consequence. It does make the sketch a lil more successful, though I still don't think it was clever or funny.

I'm still mostly enjoying the characters, though they annoy me more than used to, sometimes I smile, but I never laugh out loud. By story I don't mean plot. Yes, The Sopranos is a character driven series and always has been. However, in season six b and in season four the show put its themes and allegory ahead of its characters, and that's why imo their the weakest seasons of the show.
