I think you can root for Carrie and Brody. You can root against both as well. My allegiance continues to shift, which makes the show fun and frustrating at once. I do tend to side more with Carrie, because I think the writing for her Carrie is a bit more consistent, though it's clear the writers are starting to show

It's apparent that the SNL writers got a hold of this episode. That final scene was too reminiscent of that sketch for it to be a consequence. It does make the sketch a lil more successful, though I still don't think it was clever or funny.

Yeah, after Friday Night Lights and Maude that was the program I thought of. Sarah even submitted the episode as her Emmy tape that year.

These types of episodes are just as needed as episodes with big revelations and huge twists. This is what last week should have been: an episode more about character and atmosphere and tying up loose ends rather than delivering thrills. It's an episode that reflects the consequences of everything that's unfolded in

I can. His body has spiked up during the off season, but his face is still eleven years old. Tall 12/13 year-olds aren't unusual for this generation of mutants.

He's sorta funny and he's handsome enough. That'll do. Ultimately, If you're a celebrity who wants to date a bunch of good-looking, famous women it's not too difficult. It's about whether that's you're thing or not

I'm still mostly enjoying the characters, though they annoy me more than used to, sometimes I smile, but I never laugh out loud. On top of that, it's all just feeling very unforgettable and uninspired. It's still a passable sitcom with moments of wonder, but overall it's been a just okay show since around February.

P&R has become just another sitcom on TV.

I definitely appreciate season 6b a lot more now, but most of the episodes, even the good ones (Sopranos Home Movies, The Blue Comet), feel incomplete and weighed down by subtext. The last round of Sopranos greatness for me came in the first four or five episodes of season 6a. Since that it felt like a watered-down,

By story I don't mean plot. Yes, The Sopranos is a character driven series and always has been. However, in season six b and in season four the show put its themes and allegory ahead of its characters, and that's why imo their the weakest seasons of the show.

I didn't literally mean hate. I was just reacting to Todd saying he's never been a fan of hers. He was "hating on" her. Though I do think Paulson received some unwarranted criticism when she was on Studio 60.
