I'm sure that was sarcasm but watevs.

I used to be somewhat annoyed by her "over-expression-ing". Now, kinda love it. Big eyes and all. Her performance was pretty divisive at the beginning of the series. Now, people are used to it. Yes, she's overacting, but it's pretty glorious overacting. At this point it's just a part of who Carrie is.

Yawn. Most shows are pretty inferior to The Wire, and despite the surveillance thing popping up here and there, this series has very little in common with The Wire. Its melodrama, the twists and turns, are apart of its make-up.

While Morena has had some nice moments this season, it'll be a shame if she gets nominated for the supporting Emmy over Morgan. But I have a feeling Dana is gonna be a big player in the season's second half, so she might get buzz.

I also think it works because it doesn't take up much of the show's time. Despite the Carrie/Brody dynamic being the center of the show (for now), with the exception of "The Weekend" their screen time together has been minimal. It hasn't been given the opportunity to become overwrought, and there's still some…

That's pretty much it. I don't mind that aside. Surely, people are growing suspicious of Brody, and even if they don't piece it together it makes sense for theories to start forming all around him.

One of the best episodes of the show. The final scene was fantastic. blah blah blah… It's all about the yumminess of Rupert Friend. Yes, I too want to know who you're fvcking. Details. On screen flashbacks.

Well, the new version may have been more dedicate to the novel, but it was bloodless and wasn't acclaimed. It's just a longer, thinned-out version of the 1945 movie, as flawed as that was.

I like both The Birds and Frenzy, bu Psycho is probably his last true masterpiece. The other two are stylish entertainment, but I don't think the match up with Hitchcock's best. Marnie is a hot mess, an interesting experiment from Hitchcock thta doesn't really pan out.

I actually thought Mildred Pierce was long-winded and unnecessary. Angels in America needed some serious editing and de-preahifying.

It does seem as if HBO movies have taken a step back in the last few years. Though the subjects have been interesting, the execution has been mostly banal and safe. Temple Grandin was probably their last genuinely good production.
