It does seem as if HBO movies have taken a step back in the last few years. Though the subjects have been interesting, the execution has been mostly banal and safe. Temple Grandin was probably their last genuinely good production.

Because this is the point and time when people start to get nit-picky with acclaimed dramas (especially ones that win tons of Emmys a beloved, under-awarded show like Breaking Bad). All I know is that these next couple of episodes better deliver or there will be a genuine backlash, whether it's deserved or not.

That second bit was mostly sarcasm BTW. Although, anyone that's seen a decent amount of interviews with Ryan knows what a numbskull he comes off as. I don't know if he has been partly playing into the himbo image, but his idiocy is a bit disturbing. And why does he hold in his belly? He's incredibly fit. He looks like…

Oh, I'm totally shipping for Jenna and Kenneth. Jenneth- that almost sounds like real name.

This is what quality 30 Rock looks like. Don't know what you guys were fawning over these last couple of weeks. The first near brilliant episode of 30 for at least a whole season.

I didn't say bad. I said overrated. Some think "Employee of the Month" is one of the show's few best episodes. I think while it has some powerful moments, it's too lean and on the nose. Plus, Bracco gives a rather creaky, drunken-ed performance.

There's still a great deal of critics and TV watchers who hate this show. It's pretty 50/50, so Todd isn't in some haunted house all by himself. What's most offensive about this series is that it's so overwhelming and tries so hard that it's difficult to get into even based on its camp value.

Holy Trinity? The Sopranos, The Wire and…. Six Feet Under? I'd take Deadwood and even OZ over the last one.

James and Edie- still the greatest acting TV duo ever. (And don't no body throw out Cranston and Paul. I don't want to hear that).

With Ben and Kate I just sit there blank-faced for a half an hour thinking how it reminds me so much of New Girl but a lot less charming and more annoying. Then it goes off, and all I can remember about it is Ben's effed up teeth.
