With Ben and Kate I just sit there blank-faced for a half an hour thinking how it reminds me so much of New Girl but a lot less charming and more annoying. Then it goes off, and all I can remember about it is Ben's effed up teeth.

The only thing challenging this show as Fox's best is New Girl, but I prefer Raising Hope because it's less derivative, and when it's at its best it is the funniest thing on TV. Oh, I forgot about Fringe, but I'm not feeling this season yet.

I actually preferred last week's episode, but Leachman was hilarious here. At its best the show has a nice balance of cartoonish and more grounded humor. I thought this episode was a bit too broad. It still delivered the laughs however.

Damn, it must be hard to get through a single episode if you don't care about Carrie, Dana or Jess. This clearly isn't the show for you. Re-watch some 24 seasons. I suggest seasons one and five.

Who knows what Connie is capable of? Before this show and Temple Grandin I didn't think Claire had this type of acting in her. Also, beyond her abilities Britton just has a natural grace and honesty to her work that even Danes lacks. Love them both.

This show is pulp- elegant, often powerful and mostly well-acted pulp, but it's still pulp. And there's nothing wrong with that… yet.
