This show is pulp- elegant, often powerful and mostly well-acted pulp, but it's still pulp. And there's nothing wrong with that… yet.

I don't think it can go on with Brody for more than this season. I'm not certain about the series. Though I would like it to end by season five. But since it's on Showtime we'll probably see a few more presidents enter and leave office before this show ends.

Which makes her blah in my book.

I adore me some Britton. She gave one of my favorite TV performances ever on FNL. But she was miscast in American Sh*t Story, and while she was impressive in the pilot of Nashville, I'm not sure that series will be as great of a spotlight for Britton as Danes has here.

If she gets nominated for an Emmy this episode is definitely her submission. Unless something else comes along. At this point however it's hard to believe anyone is beating Anna Gunn and her showdown with Walt.

That was never officially reported. Everyone who printed an article saying Lewis signed a contract said it was "rumored" or a deal was close to being finalized. And none the the sure-thing sources (Variety, Hollywood Reporter) reported anything. It could be legit, or it could be the writers throwing BS out there to…

I thought this was one of the the better episodes of the series. Not quite as good as last week. But better than the premiere and better than some of the episodes Todd has given B+/A-'s to.

Cranston's episode was kina crappy, but that of course had entirely to do with the writing.

This episode had its hokey moments, but I think it did a fair job as deepening this new world. I still haven't fully engaged with this new direction. I'm particularly troubled by how indifferent I still am towards Olivia and Peter's daughter. She's just blah.

Oh, the internet…. I was not outraged by anything. People were speaking of Spacey being a closet case and how rude that line in the article was. I was mainly responding to onaccounta's posts. Things just got out of order as they tend to do around here.
