Dammit! Quadrilogy is NOT a word. It may have been first used in the 19th century, but it is a mistake by someone who did not understand the difference between Greek and Latin roots.

There hasn't been much of a ratings sag in the US. The xmas episode set records. The same is true around the world. Scheduling may have played a large part in the one experienced in the U.K., though, of course the show has been on for a decade now. Still, a show with more than 50 million world wide fans, and huge…
Growing up in Lawrence, the police department was over-staffed and bored in the kind of way that had them seeing phantom "gang members" in every teen. (It was the age of the "super-predator.")
I always hated this song. It, aided by the video, reminded me of every entitled middle class mall-teen high on white privilege who believes "the Man" is the guy who didn't fill their Slurpee to the top, and ain't gonna take it anymore!
Moffat is truly some sort of TV super-villain.
I'm afraid this trend of centering any discussion of any show that has anything to do with Steven Moffat on him and the well worn criticisms of him is getting a bit surreal.
Just ran this by the Sudanese woman I work with. She got angry. She heard they were working on a story about Sudan, specifically the Lost Boys, and had even heard that some of the Sudanese in the movie were involved in a movie, but had not counted on the American/white people savior narrative.
Aside from the clear and terrible stupidity of this film, as promoted in this ad, it is just massively offensive on many other levels.

dygitalninja - I am not asking for a full explanation, I just don't make the assumption. It seems contradictory to the Silence's stated goal. The voice seemed to me to be something else. However, if it is never brought up again, I will be fine.
Possibly, or perhaps we have not seen the last of Trenzalore.
I never thought that the Silence blew up the TARDIS. I assume that mystery is still out there.
Watched the Grimes video. …So the future is early 80s pop. Very confused and old.
I think the "success" also addresses artistic concerns, as several of these movies (including American Psycho) didn't exactly pull in fistfuls of cash or immediate critical raves.
18: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Alas, much like Sampson, the show was never as strong after they cut Chuck's hair, but this last season was much better than season 4, and the finale was quite touching.
It is an interesting riff on the original Alien Trailer (well, it's second half), though not nearly as visceral.
I just posted the same thing. The "Find" feature of my browser must suck.
MST3K did this 14 years ago, in their 1st Annual Mystery Science Theater 3000 Summer Blockbuster Review, as Spielberg's "Scenes of people looking!" They were "reviewing" Jurassic Park: Lost World.
Bill Nighy as the First Doctor!
