Tone-Loc should have gone farther in film.

The original film is a lot better because who they were and their grisly ends are left to the imagination of the viewer.

That's the most annoying thing about this whole business. The juggernaut in Alien was supposed to be thousands of years old and the SpaceJockey was the fossil of the creature, not a spacesuit.

He had to get the cat so that they wouldn't confuse it with the chestburster; remember at that point in the film, they thought they were looking for a much smaller creature.

It actually detracts from the film with all the backstory of the colonists being shown; it makes it more melodramatic.

I needed the subtitles too.

Who else could it be?

I would have liked a coda with the spacers' front office complaint.

The space workers are the crops that are being rotated. BAM!!

"Ass to ass" brought a smile to my face though

It would have been better if all that stuff happened without characters making inexplicably dumb choices

little? They aren't as big as the other movies?

They should totally do a Planet Earth style faux documentary about Xenomorphs.

Poppin' fresh!

They might have been expendable pieces of shit, but even the world's dumbest zookeeper isn't going to try to pet a king Cobra. And the guy that has little robots to map a cave system isn't going to get lost in it.

True, but once they are humanoid, their motivations are understandable; the real mystery behind the original concept of the space jockey race was very intriguing in that one could know their motivations or even why the juggernaut was full of Alien eggs. Explaining everything takes away the mystique. Prometheus would

I think he is going to wind up in another coma within this coma and have it set in the future. That would actually be cool.

That stupid haircut is really cutting into my Alien:Covenant antici-frenzy

It's protected as parody I imagine. I also imagine Sharon suing them for infringement anyway.

I enjoyed it much better on mute. The cinematography and effects are excellent and truly shine without the hackneyed plot and idiotic character decisions.
