I haven't seen it yet, but I have a slight hunch that reading the screenplay might spoil the movie for you. (Fair's fair, you did say "ruin", not spoil.)

@avclub-b7ee6f5f9aa5cd17ca1aea43ce848496:disqus "Wheel in the Sky", too.

Your friend called Eternal Sunshine too precious? Jeez. Well, everybody's gotta learn sometime.

I do find the black and white morals and characters of the books kinda refreshing, though, so I don't have as

I agree that Jazz Jazz and Nate had a pretty sweet rapport going on. These were guests that were originally meant to be divided between two separate episodes: that could have been so good, if it were indeed JJ/Nate and Jeselnik/Mirman combinations. More give and take between the former two, and Mirman seemed to be

I'm not much of a Tolkien fan myself, but what do you hate about the plot and characters? It's such a classically constructed story that I can't really see how someone could HATE it - it's like hating the plot to, I don't know, Red Riding Hood. Not questioning your opinion, of course. Just curious.

@avclub-bf685d0c6e419fab93fb447f71610d36:disqus I have never really thought about that, but I think that's a pretty correct assessment. Beats me as to why (although @avclub-b0f7b8df4360f2dc6d1214ab16072ba3:disqus might be right).

I saw that, and was wondering how they could sit on something this golden for so long. Is something like the podcast version of sweeps going on? Or did they wait until they had a week where they also had to release an absolute stinker? (A sentiment I know you don't share,

Agreed! The first Wittels episode is my favorite, I think. That, or the one with Howard's brother Lee as the only guest.

He said all he needed to say.

"Not enough pie in the trousers style humor."

God, that is definitely my favorite Comedy Bang Bang of the year so far. I will never tire of hearing Daly sing like Kieds. "Glikka-glikka-gligga gigga Glendaaaale"

I really dislike the dude, having heard him on Comedy Bang Bang. He's utterly worthless as a comedian.

I don't know, to me it's so awkwardly cut that it seems to be a joke constructed entirely by the trailer's editor.

Too bad the first reply was from some shitty dude who just made a joke of @avclub-eb70e805387fd94edd03a9fb68dbce6d:disqus's positivity! Man, fuck that guy. Guess he doesn't like liking things.

That's very true. One of the key factors in making a satisfying anthology film is the pace and the build, deciding which segment goes where. Something I think the aforementioned V/H/S did a pretty good job with (it starts and finishes strong, puts the shittiest segment ("Tuesday the 17th") in the middle etc.).

Aw dang, that would be awesome. Now you are making me weep for that which we may possibly never have.

Yes, he's killed by Krysten Ritter.
