I haven't listened to all of Jeselnik's standup and such, but if this week's CBB appearance by him is anything to go by he has NOTHING going for him except "offensiveness". (I'm obviously not offended, but that's what he tries to do.) What an unfunny, sad little dude.

One of the better band names in Soul Music, the Terry Pratchett book where rock n' roll comes to Discworld, is a band composed entirely of dwarfs called We're Certainly Dwarfs.

He did do a documentary before this one, actually; it's about his family, called The Thorn in the Heart. http://youtu.be/K2cKMpHumA8

OK, woof, that article is rough reading for a Lynch fan.

You know it! Always nice to meet another fan of Sesame Street After Dark!

I have learned to expect anything from Gondry, but what is most surprising about this is how goddamn BORING it sounds. Luckily his next film seems to be a welcome return to insanity.

"Knee-deep in Oz Trim" makes me picture Franco cramming his whole lower leg into a munchkin.

Just imagining Sean Connery pronouncing "DISH CHANNELSH" is making me instinctively duck from the spray of spittle that surely would produce.

Anyone see that Tiny Toons compilation of music videos? It included an Arabian nights-style adventure set to the "Istanbul (Not Constantinople)" cover and a wrestling short set to "Particle Man", both with Plucky Duck. Made quite an impression on a young butterpupa.

Why? I have a burning hatred for all things hippy-dippy and spiritual, but even I could get through his book on meditation, "Catching the Big Fish". It's actually very useful for anyone within a creative field, as it has a lot of great tips on how to access whatever ideas might be floating around your subconscious.

Housewives across America are jerkin' it to John Carter

Mila Kunis in tight shiny black pants also "bumps mine up to a B".

SuperMonkey may be more thematically accurate, but if you want to sing the theme song, "I'm no Monkey Man" sounds really sweet

I do like how You capitalized "Me" there, Billy. I like it a lot.

Oh…I only realized that NOW. I did find it weird that someone would be maintaining eye contact and make polite conversational noises during someone's Monty Python's quote fest.

Wow, this is the first I hear about the US not getting paprika as a regular chip flavor. In Norway, at least, it's the second most common flavor after salted. Not a fan, personally.

And nobody puts Bebe in a corner.

Good list, but I would put Homonym on top and put Bitch Hunter and MILF Island in there somewhere too.
