Similarly to you, I was also doing quite a bit of drugs and boozing when I first saw it (and I believe I was also around 21); nothing as serious as depicted in the film, of course, but I could still definitely relate. (Many of the people around me were almost like the movie's characters, however.)

I don't agree with that, though. Six is way better than the turd that was season 5 - whilst still not being GOOD. It starts out really well, then slowly deflates like a lost erection around the midway point. But even then it only REACHES season 5-levels, never goes below that.

…meth.

@avclub-a6fdefb2b99177b152b2392b43097665:disqus This is getting a little strange and awkward, but I find it very weird that you'd include @avclub-620982009915db2a0b4a49e224bad30c:disqus on that list. Sure, back when he first started he'd firstie every article with something about obscure anime, but that's a LONG time

@avclub-72685cbb553a7ebfbccb08092d11c7e0:disqus Yeah, I'm not surprised to hear that the basic technology they use to achieve the same result is different. I agree that this is partially why the ad is so shitty, since there's no indication of the difference to the viewer.

@avclub-1df8797177fc3b52be6784aacca7358c:disqus Everbody seems afraid to say it, but I kinda am one, right?

The whole show is actually a spinoff of The Cosby Mysteries.

Hello, whore.

Dexter might be the one show that would benefit the MOST from heading towards some end point, and one of the easiest to wring entertainment out of in the meantime. I always felt that Dexter should be exposed, leading to a full season of "Dexter on the run": crazy-ass road trip across the US with the police and his

Really? That production seemed more cursed with bad luck to me, rather than the Don Quixote film necessarily being "misguided and terrible". I see no reason why Gilliam's film would have been bad had he actually succeeded in getting it made.

@google-298cdea1d4f3b3a4767eb5d3b9746fd2:disqus No, you're thinking of Levon Helm.

It is a goddamn annoying film, but that seems to partially be the point. After a while you accept it, and it becomes funny just how aggravating it is: like a rake gag-kinda deal. Of course, this is not the only thing the movie has going for it, but it seems to be the reason why people DON'T like it. (Which I totally

Their ad with Tim Burton seriously features them evolving the concept to the point of "Zombie Unicorn Apocalypse". I shit you not. Then Burton goes "whoooa, you dudes are gettin' too weird even for ME!", and I swear never to see another one of his films whilst the Beetlejuice-loving 13-year old inside me weeps bitter

@avclub-9079ea527e08a24dfad44e3302d5f091:disqus Not only does it not work, but there are apps that can let you do that on your iPhone too. Been around for ages. I'm not necessarily an Apple fanboy, but in a LOT of cases these competing smartphones seem to focus on "exclusive" gimmicky features when…urgh…"there's an
