I have never felt closer to you, @avclub-620982009915db2a0b4a49e224bad30c:disqus. You sitting in Malaysia, me in Singapore, both waiting for the clock to turn 2 and this article to thusly drop. I even posted something about weird Japanese stuff. Beat me by 2 minutes though!

Like I said I would last week (after watching Survive Style 5+), I checked out the 2011 Japanese anthology film Quirky Guys and Gals, as it had a segment directed by SS5+ director Gen Sekiguchi. The unifying theme between the segments is very loose: like the title suggests, it's just 4 films about weird people. The

I think it was mentioned on some Curb Your Enthusiasm commentary track that Larry David is truly the master of the one-sided phone conversation. I never thought of it before that, but it's true: check out any episode where he's talking on a phone. Dude sells it!

You be who? You pressed "you", referring to me. That is incorrect. The correct answer is "you".

I'm sure you mean "One of us, one of us, gooble gobble, gooble gobble."

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't really have complained about Glaser on JJGo had I not heard him on CBB later. I was somewhat surprised by his surliness at first, but it was still a highly enjoyable episode. I had such high expectations for this hilarious dude, and just figured "huh, I guess that's how he is". Then I

I wouldn't want to smoke it, lest I be crushed by an ATM, but I DO wanna eat it. That shit looks like blue rock candy.

Hm, I heard CBB after JJGo, which was equally weird but at least a positive surprise. If one were to be somewhat mean, I'd speculate that it is because he feels he has more to "gain" by being "on" in a bigger podcast that has more famous guests.

Shit, how about some mashed potatoes with my dick stuck in them? Y'know, if it's gonna be that kind of party.

I guess I fall somewhere between you two; calling it "deeply flawed" is a wild exaggeration, but I wouldn't call it near-perfect either. To me it always felt like a show that's about 80% as good as it should be, what with the amazing premise, cast and production value.

On part one, someone commented that Daniel Knauf looks like the spitting image of Nick Stahl. I'd say he actually looks strikingly like Michael J. Anderson in this light.

I strongly disagree with CBB not being in "The Best" too: Glaser was goddamn hilarous. But: did anyone listen to Jordan, Jesse Go! this week? Jon Glaser was their guest as well, and he acted COMPLETELY different - extremely reserved, humorless and snippy. I got excited when I first saw his name on the episode

Sure, but WHICH Warrant album? "Cherry Pie"?

@avclub-0adf06020b0e5f2dfaea8d6be38b31a1:disqus Uh, you may have heard about a li'l dude named BATMAN?? Yeah, that's right. CHECK MATE

That's true, an armed guard will do SOMEthing. Be it accidentally shoot a kid, or get a bullet in his brain or whatever: he will do SOMEthing, dammit!

Could Weird Al do a parody of the song called "Pumped Up Dicks"? You know, about those HI-LARIOUS penis pumps? Or is that too blue for him?

I am glad to at least have given your fantasy some pre-completion.

"Too nerd-hating"…you mean too Big-y, Bang-y ,Theory…y?
