@avclub-ba9fab001f67381e56e410575874d967:disqus I will still sometimes think about Zulkey's story when I hear that song, and dang if the room doesn't get mad dusty all of a sudden each time.

That baffled me too. Taste is subjective and all, but I can't picture anyone sitting and yawning through "Jubilee Street", then when reaching "Water's Edge" (a good song, but the worst one on the album) go "Now THIS song really cooks!"
Being from Spain excuses a hell of a lot of things.

It's a We-lluminati that runs on us!
That's less detail!
I love that cover. And that naked girl is Cave's wife.
You've been involved with a movie, @avclub-1b9a80606d74d3da6db2f1274557e644:disqus? You should have told us!
I checked out the trailer just now, and yeah: it IS billed as being all about those ad-monsters. It actually makes it look quite fun, in a 50s B-movie kind of way.
And that fetus on a leash…would grow up to be a freak on a leash.
Really, what the fuck. I seriously don't get how anyone could possibly call "Jubilee Street" plodding. I think the song is amazingly gorgeous, and that this is Cave's best work since "Abattoir Blues/Orpheus". Fantastic album.
I know. It was merely in jest; I considered going with "30 Rock never titled an episode '03 Paper'!", but got caught up debating whether the opposite of 30 is 03 or -30. Comedy!
And yet Twin Peaks resisted using the episode title "Single Valley" for its entire run.
But…his wife is really attractive? It doesn't factor in how self-deprecating she is in that article, she still looks quite stunning.
Really? That rang somewhat false for me: I was sure the episode was written by Dunham, since the whole "I can be your backup? Reclaim my masculinity?"-thing seems like what a young girl might believe a guy thinks like. But since the episode was written by a man, I guess it's just bad writing.
Agreed. Assuming you mean the acting on BOTH parts, not just Marnie.
"You're nothing of a man": Well, he's got you there, @Scrawler2:disqus.
I like Spartacus, and so does my wife!
