Isn't Germany notorious for not letting you watch jack-shit on YouTube, though?
@avclub-3b661d671740495716434a3ba797c6f2:disqus There's a joke there too, though, isn't there? Mila Kunis walks in on him with his dick out, no?
@avclub-14072b2ff783182847122db384e8863f:disqus Yes, I have no trouble believing that the books read better in English; it's hard to explain, but noir dialogue just seems so clumsy in his native Norwegian…since it is obviously based on the old American heroes. Rare that a translation is better, but there you have it.…

@avclub-f62296b9393b6ab9229ebde91ed8469f:disqus The Incredibles is great and would be most people's top recommendation; my personal favorites are the aforementioned Toy Story 3, along with Monsters Inc. and Ratatouille. I never "got" WALL-E the way a lot of other people did, but YMMV.
If we're talking huge, genre-defining works, then Watchmen seems to be the most obvious choice.
I second the desire for a Locke & Key retrospective!
My ex-girlfriend gave me a coffee mug with that 4th panel ("…Boned?") printed on it. It is still my most treasured possession.
The Emperor looked the way he did because he had harlequin ichthyosis, you insensitive bastards.
VanDerWerffs be shippin'.
@avclub-f62296b9393b6ab9229ebde91ed8469f:disqus Whaaaa? You gotta get on that: especially Toy Story 3, if you have seen the first two. It's magnificent.
Worked for me, and I'm in Singapore.
Uh…are you idiots forgetting his OTHER Matt Groening show? He played Angry Mob Member #2 in the "Telltale Head" episode of The Simpsons. Jeez.
Pixar aren't too bad when it comes to this though, no? I mean, they at least seem to choose "celebrities" with suitable voices for the roles. Ed Asner in Up, Craig T. Nelson in The Incredibles, Patton Oswalt in Ratatouille…they don't just go for names that'll look good on a poster. It's not like Dreamworks, building…
I second The Beast With a Billion Backs being by far the best of the "movies". But…you can go ahead and skip Bender's Game. Eeech.
I'm not so sure I'd call it "great" these days, personally. It once was my favorite animated comedy, and now that it is back it is definitely my least favorite out of the ones I watch regularly. (Archer, Venture Bros., American Dad, Regular Show, South Park, Bob's Burgers, Beavis & Butt-Head, Adventure Time and Gravity…
12 and dying? Now you've gone and reminded me of my girlfriend ;_;
