Thanks for your support, guys. My issue with Rifftrax isn't that they prepare their jokes - it kinda goes without saying that they'd do it for any show like that - but that they didn't make the effort to create that crucial "shitting on a film with your friends"-kinda feel that that MST3K has.

I've also only "seen" one Rifftrax, for Batman & Robin. It was admittedly very funny, but I found it problematic that they'd start making the jokes BEFORE what they'd be ridiculing really took place on screen (for example shouting "And now! Batman On Ice!" etc. over the establishing shot of the museum and suchlike,…

Apologies if I sounded harsh, but where did you get the idea that I was mad at YOU? I agree that what you found chilling was indeed a good moment, just terribly undercut by what came immediately after. I didn't like that segment, it's nothing personal against you.

Child's Butt Play?
Child's Butt Play?
Come on, that segment was a huge turd. Sure it might have sent shivers up your spine when she said "you're all going to fucking die here", but then the frat boy holding the camera goes "huh, WHUUUH? Did I just, uh, whuh, HEAR that? Whuuuuh?!" Very chilling indeed.

Yeah, I really can't understand how there aren't more people talking about how shockingly shitty the "Tuesday the 17th" segment was. On the iMDB boards a lot of people are even calling it their favorite, which is bananas.

Can't wait for "The Angels Take Berlin" in series 8!

Dracula…The Wolf Man…The Mummy. Would these monsters ever assemble
as a group…in a party setting? To dance, or even drink together? While
skeptics declare it impossible, novelty songs songs seem to suggest quite the opposite.

I'd be wary of saying anything even slightly negative about Doug Loves Movies on these boards, as Mr. Benson himself is bound to pop up and do his "chirpily passive-aggressive douchebag"-spiel right in your webface.
