I was hoping someone would notice that. I kept listening for any hint of Jake the Dog or Bender, but he seemed to be mostly playing it straight Admittedly though, I was half paying attention by the time he was throwing out Andre and Russell.

Also, part of the reason for WWE turning PG was to clean up its image for Linda McMahon's failed runs for Senate.

Yes, thank you!

Don't know if you've kept up, but they recently showed "Hand" all grown up. It was on the more Nickelodeon, kid-humor side of the low-brow humor spectrum.

The Montreal Screwjob might be only controversial in the niche sense. I don't see much discussion on the controversy and its larger cultural impact, other than Bret jumping to WCW.

As a pro-wrestling fan, I would maybe suggest the ep of Monday Night Raw following Benoit's death. At the start of the show, no details were really known regarding the deaths, but as the night went on, more and more was becoming known. Keep in mind that Raw is a live show.

The F&G ep was just covered by TV Club.

The Decision, good choice.

Ol' What's His Name's interview w/ Michael Jackson.

Don't know if there was a lot of controversy, maybe it's just my reflecting on it now and thinking it would be controversial, but the episode of "That's My Bush" with the aborted baby.

Don't know if it would qualify since those episodes will be "imminently covered by TV Club" under SNL (Classic), but since we're throwing those out there anyway, I think you have to nominate the Sinead O'Connor ep along with the ones mentioned.

I second this. Her Hannibal Lecter costume was pretty good.

"I'm the Cincinnati Kid!"

Damn, you got me.

Damn, you got me.

Just an friendly editing comment: Under Stray Observations, it should read "Ellie Kemper" not "Erin Kemper."

"Maybe Andy will die at sea."

I agree with your 8-person league analysis. In an 8 person league, you're covered and there's no need to go digging for an Ogletree.
