I think when I was a kid Calvin and Hobbes was in the other big city newspaper because I don't recall if I ever even saw it, and I loved comics. Now, don't get me wrong, I've read a pretty good amount of it since then, and I have a book or two of it in my possession, but I totally missed it when it was actually new

PeterF, what game did you work on out of curiosity?

"Could this computer be used for dating?"

Well, the TV series comes back in a couple months. The strip is still dead though, I believe.

"Your question wasn't "provoking" and she answered in such a way that implied that she knew exactly what she was saying."

Yeah, this is a good observation. I found it very odd when I realized recently (when Cartoon Network was actually showing an all-day marathon of Looney Tunes) that those cartoons had been off the air for some time and that there is now a whole generation of kids that basically doesn't know them. I mean, I actually

Um….no. The Democratic party is a very specific brand of liberalism. The most popular (in the U.S.), perhaps, but they are in no way interchangeable. Right to left, as reductionist and simplistic as it may be already, still exists as a spectrum, not two pegs completely separated from each other.

Yeah, I agree about "Cape Feare," that episode is brilliant. Gotta be top five or ten for me.

Oh, also, "Homerpalooza" is a flawed episode but a fun one. I think the first half is really good and the guest stars are generally well-used (despite generally bad acting). I think the episode gets derailed a bit when Homer becomes the cannonball guy though, because it seems to completely lose the earlier story

God, people honestly strongly criticizing this episode…I mean really? Wow. It makes me wonder how some here could even sit through any of the recent shows (though maybe most here have stopped watching like I have, I dunno).

To be fair, I actually didn't assume that he's supposed to be an ultra-conservative character (and the Colbert comment was sorta tongue-in-cheek, though I WOULD seriously pay to see him in the role). More just he's sort of this jingoistic character and kind of cheesy in concept; like Superman, but perhaps even

As a side note, Nostalgia Critic/Spoony fans here! I immediately thought of Turkish Star Wars when I saw this list title, since I remembered Spoony talking about it.

BOOOOO
This film NEEDED Stephen Colbert in the role. The character is just too silly to work when played straight. Plus, only Colbert is truly AMERICAN ENOUGH to be the Cap'n.

My feeling with the JFK thing is that we will probably never know EXACTLY what happened, but that the official story as of now is probably the closest to reality of any given theory based on the evidence. It's like science…you can't actually say anything for 100 percent sure, but you can examine the evidence and to

I was looking at the "list of agnostics" on Wikipedia and it cites this page regarding Matt Stone. I've seen this before though.

Victor, I haven't played much of it myself, but the obvious answer would probably be New Super Mario Bros. for Wii. Same console, co-op elements, same characters, etc. Alas, there aren't many recent games that I would say are really similar though. Other Mario games, but considering the pace the 3D games have been

Stephen Colbert….
NEEDS to play Captain America. It's probably the one thing that could get me to see it.

CHILLED…to perfection.

Barney's movie had heart, but Football in the Groin had a football in the groin.

I saw a clip of Edward Penishands once. Pretty awesome. Although, it does raise the question: does that make it the first ever autism-themed porn?
