This is now the second time an animated Fox show airing at 6pm (CDT, baby!) has had an ambergris subplot. I'm going to have to start taking that prophecy a little more seriously than I ever expected I'd have to.

His face had all sorts of pride, glee and love (not in Tumblr ways, but in what he had wrought). This episode had a couple of breaks in his mask. Too typically when the villain breaks it's in anger or due to some humiliation. In here it's because of his twisted joy.

After the thrill of seeing he was in the episode, it was really cool to see him play a twitchy character that was yet still really restrained. And I hope he gets to write off that haircut, because who would have thought it would work in two different instances?

Ben reminded me a lot of my brother when he found out he and his wife were having twins. My mom had told me earlier in the day, so I was ready for it when he called.

"Either he had [WebMD bone disease search result] or [accident], but we know he was carried into battle…we think. Anyway, he kicked ass, took names and never knew the taste of bubble gum."

The way Katheryn Winnick bears herself as Lagertha is inspiring. She exudes a leadership that needs to be followed all done without a lot of noise and flailing. It's an exceptional character.

"No one can know you know." or Farce 101. Unlike Fart 101 which is the class at which my cropdusting, horking coworker is currently excelling.

I really dig the absurdity, the premises and just how plain funny the show is, but it's still a weekly fight for me to deal with those voices. Rick's just grates, and there's something too LaBeoufy about Morty's.

That was a nice Tina twist on Bob's habit of talking to inanimate objects and voicing their side of the conversation by having her get into a little argument with Chariot.

It truly was everything I hoped it was going to be when I first read the episode description a couple weeks ago.

Speaking of "original and unexpected" one of my favorite jokes of the season was a couple weeks ago when Jackie was talking to the therapist. "They could just once ask about my life. About how a black woman can change her hair style so many times without using a weave. It's just me and Beyonce! We're the only ones!"

I would gladly go bald and poop for another season of this show. Already have a head start!

I remember reading in the GQ profile of Jay Glazer him bragging about his Subway black card (at least I think it was that same card, but it was definitely a card). I do hope they address the bread units issue, though.

Not that it ever should be surprising that someone on the tv can sing and or dance, but his voice really caught me off guard.

That was probably my favorite joke of the night. Just letting it hang out there for a beat or two before realizing there was nothing more to it and moving on.

Damn. Sucks getting old and drunk. Things start merging.

I still remember watching a game when he was in college and hearing Brent Musburger (pre open mic coed drooling, still preening "I/me/my" counts from the NCAA tournament version) shouting, "How many Heismans will he win!" None, Brent. None.

Perhaps, but I'm very proud of the fact that I stopped talking to the screen as I clicky-clacked with my fingers.

If nothing else, this season let it be known that Alicia Witt was more than I thought she was as an actor. Not typing that she was transcendent, but definitely more than I thought. Ok, that sounds horrible and insulting. Man, I'm just the worst.

And I see that flipping flipping a lot next season.
