Go Banana!

Go Banana!

I am going to continue spending as much time watching 'Friends from College' as I spend actually hanging out with my friends from college.

Defining "highest paid actress" based on how much they make in a full year seems pointless and subject to extreme variance. Wouldn't it make more sense to define it based on who was paid the most for one single project in the previous year?

Thanks for reminding me that Alan Rickman is dead, AV Club. As if this week hasn't been traumatizing enough.

With "Her" and "Ex Machina" being two of the best films of the last few years, high-concept low-budget sci-fi seems to be making a comeback, which is awesome. I hope this movie ends up playing anywhere between the coasts, as I would love to see it in theaters.

Fun fact: Primer, the famously abstruse sci-fi indie film about time travel, is actually a sequel to Primer, the romantic comedy in which a woman begins unknowingly dating her therapist's son, which came out one year later.

I have the hierarchy of worst sitcom characters as
1. Ross Gellar
2. Ted Mosby
3. J.D. Dorian

If Mahatma Gandhi stands for one thing, it's revenge!

That was a little too enthusiastic. Can you try it again, but do something to lessen your enthusiasm?

I don't watch most of the shows that are recapped by The AV Club, but I'll always swing by to read a review of an episode that gets a C- or below.

Did anyone else come back to read this review in anticipation of the McGregor-Mayweather fight?

It worked!

I agree, person from five years ago!

I remember The Trip being enjoyable but immediately forgettable. I can't fathom what they could do with two sequels, but apparently the answer is "make the same movie again twice with the expected diminishing returns."

I have a vast and fiery apathy towards Rob Brydon. I don't think I've seen him in anything other than The Trip, and he was fine.

Specifically the period when the Simpsons was still good.

Something had to pick up the slack now that Grey's Anatomy and Good Wife are gone! We all have needs!

Is that why they kidnapped Halle Berry's kid? Because she's black?
