Bo Svenson's finest role ever.
Bo Svenson's finest role ever.
I read the book, and the movie doesn't scratch the surface of how insanely drugged up and insane most of the players on the team were. As much as I loved the book North Dallas Forty, Gent's " The Franchise " was even better in my opinion. The Sequel to North Dallas Forty ( North Dallas After Forty ) really didn't need…
My Favorite football movie will always be North Dallas Forty. Nick Nolte is great in it, and Mac Davis does not suck it in the ghetto.
Fuck EA Games for never updating Mutant League Football and Mutant League Hockey. I lost interest in sports games back in the late 90's, but if they ever updated those 2 games i'd be all aboard.
I liked her on " Hung " as Horny Patty, but she really is great as Doris.
I love the back and forth between Dom and Doris, and really wish she was there at Dom's second meeting with Ethan to deliver some well deserved neck-punches. I have to stick with this show now, just to see if anything makes me laugh harder than Patrick's " Golden Girls " goodbye speech.
Well, I hope you learned your lesson on being environmentally conscience!
How's that?
Iv'e only seen this one and the first episode. Does he die in every episode?
Did you somehow manage to incur the wrath of a gypsy auto-mechanic recently? Judging by some of your recent posts, it seems you have been cursed with some of the worst luck with automobiles iv'e seen in a while.
* tapes " I'm a stupid baby " sign on Core Concept's back *
The funniest part of this episode to me was the Awareness Seminars:
" If you are being attacked by zombies you need to wake up, because you are having a nightmare."
* every hand in audience is raised, Jill slumps forward *
Edit: Jill is smoking hot in civies. More of that please.
Who the Hell does shots of gin?
A manic Christopher Walken,
Amen, Nothing is more unsettling than being able to count a woman's ribs. I don't know who ever found that whole " heroin Chic " look to be attractive.
I was actually surprised that I liked the first one. I thought it was really a good plot, and not really overly or unnecessarily violent. Funny you should mention the " Needle pit " scene in the sequel, because that is when I stopped watching for the same reason. Did not bother with any of the others in the series.
My dad made me watch Monty Python's Holy Grail when I was about that age, much to my mom's dismay. That was probably my biggest defining cinematic memory.
I liked those movies when I was young, but more for the possibilty of some nekid women than the actual horror.
As far as Horror is concerned, I don't really read a lot of it these days. It seems that in the mid nineties, a new trend went through the genre called Splatterpunk. Horror writers seemed to focus more on disgusting, over the top violence to the point where it wasn't scary any more, just gross. One of the best…
Well, of course. But that's not why I haven't seen it. It's like there's a blind spot in my brain when it comes to some movies.
