Boston really is the worst place to live sometimes.

Is the new Tom Strong series any good? I really liked the Moore version of it, are the new ones worth picking up?

Sadly, I agree with you Mister. I've been coming to this site almost daily for the past 5 years I'd say and within the last year or so (I guess with the departure of all the original heavies) it has really fallen off a cliff. With the exception of these DVD reviews, D'Angelo's Scenic Routes, and Sava's comic book wrap

Malazan looks pretty cool, what about Black Company? Worth reading?

Has anyone read the Sword of Truth series? Is it worth the time? I need some fantasy to break up my 2001 series read

Liked bc of your pound Kesha joke

Have you been reading The Wake? It's really good so far

What'd you think of Black Mirror? I liked the stuff with the whale surprisingly more than the stuff with Gordon's son. I was kind of mad when they made him actually be a psycho. It was better when you didn't know

What is Justice League 3000? These characters set in the future?

Is the Allred/Milligan run on X-Factor that good? I'm thinking of picking the issues up on eBay. Do I need to pick up the X-Static run to understand X-Factor?

    Tenacious D: Pick of Destiny

When the movie ended, I thought to myself, I hated watching that. But I haven't stopped thinking about it since I saw it so I think I kind of loved it?? That Everytime sequence is for the history books

Dwigt, that is incredibly interesting. I would argue that the movie does not gel as well as a good Tarantino though. Instead, you're just confused the whole time and constantly making sure you're not sitting on the remote

That movie is insane! It is like watching six different movies. First it's a bad ass martial arts movie, then it's a werewolf horror movie, then it's an 18th century romance

I love Wild at Heart. Cage is so perfect in it and the ending with the good witch gets me every time. It's definitely my second favorite Lynch movie, behind Mulholland Dr, which is easily top 5 all time for me. Full disclosure, I haven't seen Lost Highway yet and I've heard great things

You had me at pile of bananas

What kind of coupons can you find online? And is it worth it to be a member just for this sale??

That's mainly what I was wondering. I bought Black Moon thinking it'd be batshit insane and a really great movie to watch on a sleepless night, but I don't think I ever want to watch it again. Maybe I'll check House out before I buy it. Thanks guys!

It looks like they only have Design For Living and To Be Or Not To Be on bluray. Which out of those two? I'm not made of money

Man do I love that sale. I'm thinking about picking up House bc it looks so insane. Is it worth it or just nonsense? I picked up Malle's Black Moon last time around and that might have treaded a little too far into nonsense territory for me. Also into old ladies breast feeding territory.
