How essential is knowing about Battle of the Atom to enjoying this miniseries? I love Doop and the Milligan's X-Force run, but I know absolutely nothing about Battle of the Atom. Should I skip it?

The first one I watched was Summer Interlude and I was hooked. It's still a little melodramatic but the ballerina scenes and the part where she takes off her makeup are absolutely gorgeous.

The Rules of the Game is incredible! The scene at the end where they're all running through the house is magical

Yeah, I was really happy with the way this first issue starts off, but I'm more excited about where it's going to go. The art is so good that I really hope the story can match up to it.

What'd everyone read? I caught up on MiracleMan and Ghost Rider. I liked both a whole lot. Miracleman is so meta it's ridiculous. I love the image of Garzunga saying "just a comic book character" although I'm not sure what that means with all the warpsmith stuff? Was that a dream too?

I haven't read this yet so I didn't want to spoil anything, but I wanted to say how good this comic has been. Murphy's art is amazing and this new second half is so immersing and different than the Alien underwater of the first half. It's probably my favorite comic out right now

Not related thread! I just caught up with The Wake and boy oh boy is that comic good. I love the direction that Part 2 is headed and I love the steampunk look of the future waterworld. Sean Murphy is a prodigy.
