Quite excited to see this, I must say. Watched Ginger Baker in Africa recently, and though the production/writing is pretty rough and Baker is at best obtuse, some amazing performance footage with him, Fela, and others. Also, after reading Bulger's initial article, Baker seems like a pretty entertaining asshole.

That would make sense if any of the movies ever at any point suggested that the xenomorphs needed to eat in order to grow. None of them do. Their design seems to just be "get big and ornery really damn fast," which is consistent throughout the mythology.
