I like the glimpses of Ricks depression/character to be just glimpses. I kinda worry that they'll get too heavy handed with it and it'll dissipate the impact of it.
I felt the same way with the ending of Rixty Minutes, it just didn't really click for me and that arguably had a better buildup.
