I. . .wasn't trying to do so? What?

It's only 'cause everyone so badly wanted it to be good that they kept hedging, as though enough sheer good will going to the project would fix everything in episode II. I can remember sitting in the theater, sort of holding the disappointment at bay, waiting, waiting, waiting, for the early rough bits to shake off

In terms of selling Force Awakens, it doesn't matter how many practical effects were in Phantom Menace because where CGI was used it looked so unbelievably shitty that it became notorious. It's a lot easier to say "we're using practical effects" than to point out that they were used, that wasn't the problem, etc.

Force Awakens and Rogue One were good, and I'm excited to see what Rian Johnson does with the series. But I still take your point.

That's the most instantly sense-making explanation for human behavior I've heard since I found out our gene pool is shallower than it should be so the whole species is inbred.

Eternal None-shine of the Spotless Canvas

So do I!

Nifty Shades of Gray is all I got.

It says there are two comments. I open the article and see none. Not great.

I have a legacy account, so I'm going to try porting it over to Kinja once they post the instructions.

Capitulating to Liberals and delivering to RINOs will not pacify, mollify nor endear any on the Left

Wait—they don't like neo-cons? This shit is so confusing.

The old, more restrictive, voter ID laws were posted at our polls and there were some issues with the voting machines. In my artsy college town surrounded by a red county. Completely legitimate mistakes, I'm sure.

It really is depressing to realize that while the comments section may be a minority, it's not nearly as small a one as we thought—there were enough of those people to, in the context of America's terrible voter turnout and the Electoral College, elect one of their own to the presidency.

Ray for president.

She started it by needlessly telling us no one would layer in college.

Doctor Mrs. The Cube is a huge fan of The Operative's speech in Serenity—that there will be no room for him in the world he's creating.

To say nothing of the cowboy/sad song thing, which doesn't even make sense on its own.

Or just a fucking ratt.

I blanked on the band at first and thought you were leading with a narrative in which Interpol busted you. Two clauses later I was very confused.
