I can't defend Buffi's outfit, but man…I thought the bottom three were going to be Kooan, Andrea, and Lanti.  Kooan's was the most hideous Jack-O-Nightmare thing that had me laughing out of shock.  The orange giant grinning pumpkin face had this strips of sugary gore hanging from its jowls and dangling along the side.…

I love Don Coscarelli.  But, Bubba Ho-Tep felt like Coscarelli trying to aim for the cult movie audience instead of doing what he does.  It was totally off his path.  He normally doesn't do slow distillations of pulp pop concepts into a stew of boredom.  His are generally weird pulpy concepts distilled into a weird…
