Yeah, Tasha's right. Nightmare took in a lot on it's opening weekend, but then fell off dramatically. It quickly became a cult hit and merch phenom just like she said. But back then, big drop off after a strong opening weekend labled a movie as a flop even if it made money.

I'm amazed
Wow, can't quite believe that this is real.
I feel like I'm watching Tim & Eric, except that then this would be genius.

I have a question
If any of you out there are fans of this, I'm curious about something:

I liked Moonraker a lot when I was a kid. Loved Jaws and that super-strong Swiss Miss girl with braces he hooks up with.
But then I honestly thought it was a comedy.

Good choice, though I was going for a contemporary of Bettie Paige.

Oh the memories…
Ah yes, I'd almost forgotten all the happy nights spent vacuuming with this on in the background that cultish summer I worked at the Disney store.

Truly America's Top Models
I guess I'm a bit embarrassed that I know this, but that's twice now that an ANTM winner has been an anonymous model on the finale of this show. This time it was Danielle, and I also noticed that bitchy girl who's whole family got their asses kicked by that Hairspray girl's family.
Good to

See, I've always wondered if part of his zealotry doesn't stem from intense guilt he has now over the amount of teenage masturbation he must have inspired in the late 80's.
Although now that I get a second look at that poster, 20 years later, it's kinda hard to believe. I mean, suspenders clipped onto running shorts?

Actually…
…Being the first person in the world to have herpes would be much cooler.

Actually…

Oh, and I think you're right. Children's Animated Musicals (though not all of these are musicals, of course) or Animated Family Films or something like that would be a lot more on the nose for a list like this.

Hey Kelly,
Though I generally enjoy being called insane before it's even noon, you might not have noticed that there was an "or" in there, not an "and".
And of course my main point was that animation shouldn't be listed as a genre anyway.

Animation is NOT a Genre.
Okay, Animation is a Medium, not a Genre.
Man, it annoys me that it's not recognized as such.
You can have an animated horror film or sex film or suspense film or any other actual genre on this list.
What they've stuck to is the most tratitional genre within animation, the family-friendly

Yikes. I wasn't too familiar with his work past Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (nice to see you on the bonus features, by the way). Thanks for educating me!

excuse me…
…Russ Meyer, not Meyers. Stupid typing in a hurry.

Hey Nathan…
About it being a shame that Pam Anderson wasn't born sooner:
Wasn't Russ Meyers a stickler for only having women with real breasts around? I thought he wasn't into the fake.
You'd know much better than I, so what do you think?

Now that's some hatin'
This reminds me of Dorothy Parker's old theatre reviews where she ripps Winnie the Pooh a new one.

Now that's some hatin'

Yeah, but it's just a spare.

Entourage guy
Nice of his date to emphasize his fame by wearing a hat and dress that form a bunch of arrows pointing at his face. Though why not go the extra mile and print, "hey look! It's the Entourage guy!" on there too.
