They say a compruter can do my job better than I can damn well do it.

Every time I see Kurt Sutter's name, I start singing KISS's "Strutter" but I substitute "Sutter." Am I the only one? I can't be the only one.

"tl;dr: My Story Volume 1" by Nathan Rabin

Met him at a convention in 2007. Nice guy. He was eating a corndog while wearing full NOTLD zombie makeup.

Every guy who came of age in the Skinemax era owes him a debt of gratitude. RIP, Zalman.

Put me in the pro-House of the Devil camp. I loved the "slow burn" style - it was so suspenseful it was nearly painful. Unlike say, Rob Zombie, the carefully-crafted retro '70s/'80s stylings were merely the icing on the cake of a very solid horror/suspense film and not the alpha and the omega. The Roost, although

Zalman King RIP:

Drop it! No, seriously, drop it. Although the Elite Squad director being on board is hopeful, I'm skeptical he can nail the humor of Robocop.

He probably meant Fight for Your Life, a nasty bit of '70s race bating and a stealth remake of The Desperate Hours. William Sanderson plays a bigot escaped con who takes a black family hostage and spends the movie uttering the vilest racial language imaginable. http://www.imdb.com/title/t…

PETE! PEEEEEEETE! WHERE'S PETE?

*Stumbles out of phone booth time machine*
Whoa, did something happen to the comments, Ted?

Keep My Grave Open
I was delighted to see this extremely obscure film referenced. It was a creepy Repulsion-type thriller about a woman who goes insane and pretends to be her dead brother (complete with drag), and yes, kills people with a samurai sword. It has one of the all-time great WTF endings.

MyleyWalk With Me
"It is happening… again."

Panckaes
How could it be bad with delicious pancakes? So many good things start with yummy pancakes.

I, too, am tired of these caricatures. Enough, already. Atlanta gave us Andre 3000. Can't we retire these tropes already?

Guns, Guns, Guns
Forgive me if this has been covered elsewhere, but the fact that these characters aren't armed to the teeth is absurd. You've got two deputies, two right-wing militia-types, and assorted others NO ONE has a huge stash of firepower? Or a gun dealer friend? A criminal connection? No one has robbed a gun

"Don't give up!"

The first one really works despite the aforementioned issues with the dubbing. I would compare it to a dark, gory adult fairy tale; it has a real artistic life beyond the Fangoria factor, which it delivers in spades.
Part 2 "turns an already limping plot into a hash" but it expands the mythos in all kinds of

I gave up on Argento
After his triumphs of the 60s, 70s, and 80s, his descent in the 90s into boring, generic eurothriller territory finally lost me. His films don't even look good anymore. His shots are boring. Even Claudio Simonetti's music is tiresome. It's like all the best elements gradually got the volume turned

His show, 30 Days, is worth watching. All follow the "30 days doing X" structure of Super Size Me; only a few have Morgan as the subject. Most center on people of radically opposed viewpoints who volunteer to "sleep with the enemy" for awhile. For example, a hunter and super-carnivore has to live with animal rights
