It's kind of amazing how I never picked up on the voyeurism theme, and never saw or read anyone else noticing it, but it's pretty clear rewatching it. Kind of a strange thing not to pick up on, considering how much it's used.

Hadn't Adrian Paul showed up earlier in that season as another alien that wanted to help the humans? Or did that all happen in the season finale? But yeah, tuning in to watch the second season premiere after all that, all I could think was, "What the hell?"

I get the feeling the writers never actually bothered to take the time to figure out what the weapon does, just threw it in so the 2nd Mass would have a reason to do something.
That being said, I think it would turn all humans into puppies. Because I can't imagine it being very hard to invade a planet of puppies.
