Yeah, it was off-putting how easily Castle imagined his daughter getting shot and then torching her body, even if she was playing a different character. That's still dark.

I think she actually lost a little too much weight compared to her appearance on Party Down. Nothing like Julie Bowen weight loss (holy shit people, did you see her at the golden globes?) but she could put on a few.

I've already decided to be her for Halloween next year. May need to cut bangs for it, but it'll be worth it.

My guess is that the show didn't want to pay for both CeCe and Lizzy Caplan's character in this episode.

I thought this was a pretty good episode overall, but lord did they do an awful job of showing girl's high school varsity basketball! They were wearing t-shirts instead of jerseys! At first I was at a a loss wondering why they showed the scoreboard during a practice. The fact that none of those girls can actually play

Best line of the night.

Anyone else think it's weird that Saget never mentions Lily & Marshall's kid(s) considering how much he mentions the two of them? I understand the writers not wanting to spoil anything about them having kids earlier (even though it's always been presumed) but with Lily pregnant it's more glaring. L&M's kids are

I watched a fair amount of 7th Heaven as a kid because I was the only kid at home growing up (older siblings hit college by the time I hit elementary school) and I idealized living in a large family. That was the only reason - I recognized the show as a bad one even at ten. But my psychiatrist mother was *really*

Ugh yes, I watched the first few episodes of Secret Life before I realized that every scene consisted *solely* of two people talking. No one DID a thing on that show. EVER. Also, their writers can't edit for shit (or, really, write for that matter.) Switched at Birth is the only good show on ABC Family.

That line was so great because the only place I ever heard of rainbow parties was on Oprah, which leads to the mental image of Charlie watching Oprah, and really taking the episode's message to heart.

I'd say he's cute but not handsome. However, when his character is funny or charming enough, that really ups his attractiveness. So, in New Girl he's not that great, but in Going the Distance he seemed much more appealing.

Yes, TV Club, please cover GG! I only got into it senior year of high school before going to yale because rory was already there on the show, but I'm glad I did. It can be ridiculous or annoying - hated parts of season 6 and 7 - but a lot of it is so great, especially for pop culture junkies.

That might be a better spin-off than the one I've been hoping to see for years - Dr. Spaceman doing clinic hours a la House. Rothstein's the man.

Was I alone in seeing this more as a cult parody than a horror parody? Mr. Rad was the messianic figure and singing was the kool-aid.

Also, Britta's line about the stakes being low and that making it even scarier was fucking awesome.

"He's like human fro-yo." THIS IS THE INSULT I'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR ALL MY LIFE.

I love this show so much, I want to take it behind the middle school and get it pregnant.

Ugh that product placement was such a distraction! The show is totally selling out.

If Two and a Half Men is a bipartisan offender, that makes me ashamed to be a democrat. I have no idea if it is (though anecdotal evidence says no), it's just that it would be awful if true.

I know! I felt like I couldn't look directly at it or my eyes would be destroyed by the awesomeness.
