It's about taking the sophisticated idea of sex and setting it on a farm.

I love the way Shane says "entrepreneur" in that song. Pure punk.

Not sure if it's your cup of tea of not, but if you might enjoy country music Pogueified, check out The Waco Brothers and The Pine Vally Cosmonauts. Same guys mostly.

I resemble that remark!

Down All the Days
Body of An American
And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda (non-album version on the RS&TL cd)

I first saw them at Barrowlands in Glasgow in December 1986 (not the show on the boxed set, unfortunately). One of the most amazing shows I've seen. The band was great and Shane was still on the top of his game. I still have a show t-shirt with "Lend me ten pounds and I'll buy you a drink" on it somewhere.

How about the musical remake of "Romeo and Juliet" in Hot Fuzz?

I was going to post "Chirstmas in Hollis" but I guess I'm old too!

Maybe this has already been mentioned, but doesn't Casablanca glorify a murderer too? Or are we still tying to pin that one on the "usual suspects"?
