I really would have liked a sequel to Our Man Bashir where Julian visits Garak in a Cardassian holosuite mystery.
It would have changed one thing— they would have needed a new set and model. :V
cardassian bashir!!
in some interview somewhere, jamie bamber said that bsg had him in the fat suit for so long that his agent was getting notes that were all like, "well, we thought jamie would be good for this part, but he's put on all that weight…"
bsg spoilers:

Yeah, it seems really hard to say that it's just macho war posturing— especially when there's an entire (wonderful) episode after AR-558 that's all about the lasting trauma the battle had on Nog, even when medical technology easily healed his physical wounds.
i like how getting really mad about torture and a war which murdered thousands of iraqis is anti-american now since "american values" is heinous violations of the geneva conventions and heaped bodies of the innocent

I adore every section of the book, but I might as well do this.

RobertMosesSupposesErroneously : That's the theme of the book, but the entire point of the book— and what every one of the main characters eventually ends up doing— is struggling against that. There's a reason why Zachry's story isn't the end of the book, and there's a reason why Ewing's story doesn't end with Dr.…
