I kind of liked the finale, since, in the end, it was the final statement on the idea that even our most hated enemies are human. At the beginning of the show, we're encouraged to think of the Colonials as "us" and the Cylons as "them", but gradually that mask is peeled away, until in Daybreak it's basically…

Same, same. Even though, in the end, I kind of disagreed with him about the finale (I'm one of the dreaded Daybreak-likers), his recaps did so much to illuminate the nuances and themes of the show for me the first time I watched it.
