No, he was completely serious.  Q-Tip and Mark Wahlberg are apparently equivalent in his mind.

I was complaining at work that too many young people are ignorant of A Tribe Called Quest, and my 26/27 year old coworker is nodding is head, agreeing, then says "I know, no one remembers Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch either."  My head just about exploded.

I don't think I ever watched an entire episode of Jem.  I do have very clear memories of it coming on after some show I loved (Transformers? He-Man?), but I always turned the TV off at that point.

The Dr. Rodgers cameo was a great touch.

"We bought a whole bunch of Zima when the factory shut down."

Background singers, they all come in threes.

It's "Chief Wiggum P.I.".

I'm not sure Arlo's mental faculties have regressed to the point yet where he thinks a return to the gold standard is smart public policy.

One of the hookers was comparing him to Steve McQueen.

I loved Goggins' reaction when Arlo called Boyd "Raylan".  Such a fantastic actor.

Did anyone actually see WWW?  I thought everyone just bought tickets for it and snuck into South Park, that's what I did at least.

I had completely forgot about that.  You're right, it does make a lot of sense for her to be involved then.

The Duke Silver callback was awesome, but I kind of wish April hadn't been in on it.  No conversation with April as a bit of explanation for anyone who didn't see the original Duke Silver introduction, just Ron sneaking around taking down posters in the background, and then of all a sudden at the end, Andy comes back

At this point I think it's clear they're just fucking with us.

He also uses the word "blast" 8 times.

Speaking of "Closing Time", how in the hell has Pam never heard that song?  She is the perfect age to remember that song being played constantly in the late 90's.  There is no fucking way she could be hearing it for the first time!
