Most of my favorites have already been mentioned, but how about Justified?

I had a roommate in college who recorded the entire opening "In the criminal justice system…" and used it as his voice mail message.  It was funny for a while, but he forgot what it was and still had it when he was interviewing for jobs.  He kept waiting to hear back from companies and no one ever left got in touch

Thanks for the advice, I actually almost picked up that book from the record store last weekend, I'm glad I didn't.  And while Pink Moon is definitely my favorite, "infinitely less beguiling" is way over the top, Bryter Layter and Five Leaves Left are both awesome records as well.

I thought vaginas was The Word of 2011, shouldn't it be called "Ridiculous Detective Show Starring Three Attractive Vaginas"?

I read a ton of R.L. Stine as a kid.  One of the only things I remember from any of his books is in "Silent Night", the Christmas story, where there is a razor hidden in a tube of lipstick that slices one of the characters lip.

Meh. The Tick already did the Leonardo meets super heroes thing.

To be fair to Morrissey, the British press is not exactly known for accurately quoting subjects.

The original version won a bunch of awards and was a huge hit in Italy.  That poor judgement may explain why the Italians are about to bring down the world's economy.

My biggest issue was with the lack of consequences of the attempted rape.  Like the reviewer said, it should have been a line crossing moment, but for how much it affected the story tonight, it may as well have never happened.  How can you go that far, then not make it have any significant effect on the characters?

I blame Yoko.

Does FX own the rights to that word or what?

Of course, the book does not contain any hints on how to win the lottery. It is, rather, a chilling tale of conformity gone mad.

Off the top of my head, I remember "Big Deal on Madonna Street", "Cabiria", "8 1/2", and "Blow-Up".  Many more too, but I can't recall them right now.

My professor was Italian, and it was also a class on Italian cinema.  So my Italian Italian cinema professor.

My Italian cinema professor called it "The Bicycle Thief" for whatever that's worth.  And like Stone Cold said, whatever you call it, it's incredible, should be a mandatory watch.

Did anyone else watch the Boo Berry commercial?  He totally has chains hooked to nipple rings.

Antics was pretty good too.  Our Love to Admire was terrible though, and I didn't even bother to listen to all of the self-titled.

I agree that the Strokes aren't really post-punk revival, that's why I put the term in quotes.  It's just that they tend to be lumped in with Interpol, Franz Ferdinand, and the Killers, so I was going for the best album out of that group.

Arcade Fire is the Canadian Radiohead.

"Is This It" is a great album, but it's not even the best "post-punk revival" album of the past 10 years, that honor belongs to Interpol's "Turn On the Bright Lights".  And as far as Best Album overall of the last 10 years, I'd probably go with either Arcade Fire's "Funeral" or Wilco's "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot".
