Poor Holly? The guy's dodged a bullet, being ignored by someone who prefers an ass like Harry Lime.

'Crying over a baby and a chicken? I thought this was a comedy show!'

One of my favourite endings to any book.

That's pretty dreadful. Still sounds better than the trailer for The Blind Side though.

Still, at least it's 90 minutes long and not 120+

I know the last 20 years or so of De Niro's career gets a lot of flak, but Diane Keaton's filmography over that period is possibly even worse. And in the 70s/80s she just as brilliant as the likes of De Niro and Pacino were.

I like it. It's no Tightrope, but then not much is.

' . . . do it for Chewie and the Ewoks, and all the other puppets . . .'

A new Wrens and Boards of Canada in the same year as new Daft Punk, David Bowie and My Bloody Valentine would surely cause the world to implode.

Surprised at the number of 6/10 and 7/10 reviews this has been getting, I think it's really good on early listens. Might even be better than Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix (not as front-loaded for one), though maybe short of It's Never Been Like That.

Or The Wrens. Or Modest Mouse. But this is still pretty cool.

That statement is around 14 years too late. Remember that terrible remake of The Haunting she was in?

We agreed to give Krull a try.

Rachel Leigh Cook in She's All That barely counts as a makeover, all they do is take her glasses off and put her in a dress.

I don't know what the fuck it was but I did once punch a guy in the face for saying it was rubbish.

Movie makeovers where the character actually looked better beforehand:
Ally Sheedy in The Breakfast Club
Olivia Newton-John in Grease (always hated the ending to that film too)

The Princess Bride and Lord of the Rings are both great. And Hawk the Slayer too of course.

No redhead Brittany Snow in this one though I presume. Damn.

I think in 10 Things I Hate About You, Stiles, Ledger and Gordon-Levitt were all fairly close to the ages their characters were too.

Crush the turtle in Finding Nemo.
