Attlee > Churchill

'Shake harder, boy!'

'Hee hee hee, no one in history has ever done anything this clever!'

It's Evan Almighty: The Serious Version!

It's not one to start with probably, but Murray Street is one of my favourite Sonic Youth albums.

I disagree, I think Goo is a perfectly good place to start (certainly a very accessible one by Sonic Youth standards), and it's just as good as Daydream Nation in my opinion.

*Patches O'Houlihan chucks a wrench at Dr J*

I don't agree with it getting a Best Picture nomination, but I can clearly see how it got one. This is the Academy after all.

I loved Election/About Schmidt/Sideways (the latter two are amongst my favourite films of the 2000s), so I'm hoping I like this a lot more than this reviewer did.

I think, looking at it now, I'm just happy to see a romance between two older characters that isn't a bloody Nancy Meyers film.

Completely disagree, the two of them are really sweet in the film. And I'm not sure how it's shoehorned in (certainly no more than any regular romantic subplot).

It won't be reviewed here. It's barely been reviewed anywhere so far (only three reviews on AnyDecentMusic, and not even on Metacritic at the moment).

I'd say Daphne and Donny in Frasier.

Also, Strictly Ballroom when it comes to slow handclap moments.

Not sure how that works considering when the Winter Olympics began the Summer Olympics was largely Europe + North America competing

Someone set Helga on this guy!

Crap films exist and sometimes the world is unfair. Stop the presses!

Alexis Denisof getting more roles, any roles, is a good thing. I'd even be happy if he was getting roles in the next Michael Bay film, the next Brett Ratner film and the Man of Steel sequel to be honest.

I'd argue Jonathan had one of the most tragic character arcs too.

You all know by now that The AV Club isn't as comprehensive in its music coverage as it is with films and TV and that's not going to change, why do people still complain when album X isn't reviewed.
