Not sure why he's the character everyone's arbitrarily picked to hate this season. "Eat the pennies" was one of the funniest scenes this year. "Spanakopita!" is an inessential episode, but that's the only other one that gave him a lot of screen time.

I'd have to rewatch to be sure, but right now this is my favorite season since the second (which I still view as the high water mark).

I was really depressed by the Monarch's admission of failure, and then he gave that awesome reversal speech… oh Monarch. Never change.
