I don't necessarily hate the Final Cut, but considering it was the album that came after The Wall, critical and fan dislike was to be expected.  Not to mention this was the album that finally broke the band, I believe Roger Waters left a year or two after it was released.

There's this particular canned scream I hear all the time in movies, always irritates me.  Not the Willhelm scream, but that other one.  The only example I can think of offhand it being in is at the end of the Aaaaahh!! Real Monsters theme.
