Swartzwelder appears at least twice that I know of: as one of the writers of Itchy and Scratchy in "The Front" and as one of Lionel Hutz's surprise witnesses in "The Day the Violence Died."

Lookwell is an amazing show, but I think both Conan and Smigel later admitted that they had absolutely no idea how to follow up if the pilot was picked up.
