I didn't like Silkwood, despite fine performances all around, because it made Karen Silkwood a bit too much of a blue-collar hick, rather than the college educated union activist she was in real life. Your mileage may vary, of course.

My mom likes the show, but mainly because the matriarch is named Ceil, which is my mom's name.

It's extremely hard to find, but his non-fiction book, Last Chance to See, about endangered animals, is quite nice.

Don't sell yourself short. You have the tits that launched a thousand ships.

Pfft. It's only glorious when Rauch isn't on screen.

Gonna get me a shotgun and kill all the mediocre sitcoms I seeā€¦

He was also one of the cast on the show within the show Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. He's paid his dues.

You leave Melissa Rauch alone. She is beautiful and an absolute delight.

Is that from one of your poems?

Not to mention it would attract super-bears.

It wasn't castor oil. It was a wafer-thin mint.

Is it any worse than the only thing people remembering Taft for is getting stuck in a bathtub (which never actually happened)?

Is there another kind of sousaphone?

Taft actually busted far more trusts than TR did, he just didn't have TR's talent for public relations and shameless self-promotion (and I like TR).

We might well have been better off with Greeley, had the poor man not died before the votes of the electoral congress were counted (thus far he is the only presidential candidate to die while campaigning).

You know, for kids!

When are they gonna reprint the 7 Lady Godivas?

I don't fear anything,
Not even Hell fires.
But please,
Don't let me be played by Mike Meyers!

This was especially unfortunate, as Malekith in the comics is a great character, insane but tactically brilliant. He could have been played like the Joker in the Dark Knight, or someone who could trade witty barbs with Loki, but he was just a generic "bad guy."

Oh, I understand the legal reasons for not crediting him, but it is still a dick move. While I don't subscribe to the theory that Kirby built the Marvel U. single-handedly, his contribution were essential to the creation, and that deserves some acknowledgement.
