I had a hard time with the last album, and it's taken me until now to really get into it. It seems like this one is not going to immediately click either. The Soft Bulletin did, and so did Yoshimi. I'm not saying that all their albums need to be like that, I'm just saying they don't resonate as well.
I started watching this show because of Tim Roth and kept with it through the shaky season 1 because of TIm Roth (man, did I get tired of them saying "micro-expressions", we get the point). In my mind, just as Hugh Laurie does with House, Roth is carrying this show.
Hope you're talking about the ratings because I'm not sure that this show can slide that much further before hitting rock-bottom.
How it feels
Not watching this crap feels great, but reading your posts make it so much better. So, for the good of all Heroes ex-watchers, you must continue to review this until NBC finally gives it up for the shit-storm it truly is. I'm sorry, Steve, but you must crucified so that the rest of us can be redeemed.…
Correction
I can't believe I'm doing this, but I think you'll find that you mean "'Topher has ethical problems? Topher?!,' snipes Boyd." This was before Boyd and Ballard switched places.
The worst part about that computer sequence was the graph that showed the crow populations by month. It's literally been just a few days, lets say a week or two, even, since the event happened in late September/early October. How they hell do they have data on crow polualtions for November and December already? Hello,…
I think you mean "sewn". That is, unless you're planting the seeds of your words into pillows somehow… And that would be odd, to say the least. Everybody knows that pillow stuffing doesn't make for fertile soil for word seeds, right?
Damn, Veronica Mars was a good show. I think I might have to download the theme song tonight…
Except the ones who are dead.
Yeah, that annoyed the hell out of me, too. If Awesome was supposed to be the surgeon, then he would have had to do the surgery while he was passed out. I know Awesome is awesome and all, but that's stretching the boudaries of his Awesomeness.
ABC is actually playing this again this weekend (maybe Saturday night?) for all of you who missed it the first time.
They might as well, they certainly don't have much else worth showing.
Zombified
ABC is willing to resurrect the decaying bloated corpse of Scrubs but is willing to prematurely bury this lively youg show? I just don't understand that train of thought. I say let the dead rest in peace and focus on the living.
Damn Damn Damn!
I'm a real tuffie.
And I have to disagree with you, Evil Cub… The first thing River Song says to the Doctor, immediately after walking into the Library was "Hello sweetie." I didn't really catch that the first time I watched "Silence in the Library" but caught it on the second pass. Anyway, it seems obvious that River recognizes the…
I'm a hockey fan and one of my friends is a Leafs fan, so I have sympathy for them (and him, for that matter). When I first saw the trailer for Love Guru, I said to my girlfriend "Haven't the Leafs and their fans suffered enough?" Going beyond that, I made the point that hockey doesn't need this kind of bad publicity.
That Dexter's Lab parody was the greatest! If the Wachowski brothers had made this movie with that as a reference, this movie would have been Oscar-nominated.
I Hear…
That they're doing a Bathroom Sluts prequel. It's called Sex and the City.
Decal,
If Abaddon is on Widmore's side, he sent Locke to the island so he would be well-placed to "owe him one" in the future "when they meet again".
