A-. Really splendid. The exchange between Libby and Bill was heartbreaking, as was the look at Jane's face when she pieced together who the 23-times "mystery couple" was just a couple of scenes prior.

"Hannah Hunt" is the correct answer.

I would go with 1/3 Cyril Figgis, 1/3 J.D., and 1/3 Andy Bernard, actually.

Yeah, I think I saw that episode of "Friends" the other day.

I have an aunt named Kevin. True story.

I agree, which isn't a knock on this episode as much as it is a testament to how strong the top half of this season has been on the whole. I still had five or six good belly laughs out of tonight's episode.

Hey, me too!

I keep waiting for Black Friday to die out as soon as 50-something women discover online shopping, but Amazon has been around for a decade and Black Friday keeps getting earlier and earlier. Get your damn hands off Thanksgiving, Black Friday.

This was about the time of year my girlfriend and I binge-watched "The West Wing" last year. I'd toss that one up on the list. Oh, and "Deep Space Nine".

I hope her friendly rivalry with Peralta gets more play in future episodes. That was a fun plotline from the pilot that has seemingly been on the back-burner since then.

"Boyle Bingo" is a perfect example of why Boyle is my favorite. It would have been so easy to draw him as a pathetic, oblivious idiot of the generic sort that has been a sitcom staple since forever, but instead, he's probably the best-drawn and most sympathetic character on the show.

Biggest laugh of the night for me.

Aww.

I'll give it an A. I laughed pretty consistently throughout the episode, and I got a real nice vintage "Community" vibe from the last scene, which I've really missed ("Parks and Recreation" comes close, but its sweetness is so par-for-the-course on that show since circa Season 3 or so that it doesn't have that much

Completely agreed, and I've found it difficult to reconcile my utter contempt for Davies' writing and Tennant's performance by the S3 finale, S4, and the never-ending parade of mediocre specials with my mild enjoyment of Ten in S2 and parts of S3.

'Twill be interesting to see how River interacts with the next Doctor, if the Moff wants to go down that road.

Agreed, and I started my foray into the Whoverse with "Rose". I enjoyed the first four seasons, but I'm probably not ever going to want to rewatch most of the non-Moffat or -Cornell episodes.

I definitely got a strong whiff of "Homicide". Jimmy Breslin is the closest direct analog to the Keach character, but with Peralta's hero-worship and how genre-defining the book Peralta loved was made out to be, I think there was meant to be some David Simon DNA in that character.

I guess her teeth are kinda big, but they're not Jessica Pare big. I find her enormous choppers to be actually distracting every time Megan Draper is on screen.

Only of the American remake, where it turns out in the end they're actually astronauts going to Mars, because fuck symbolism.
