I hope I'm not the only one who got waayyy too attracted to Felix when Gavaris switched to his usual voice. Compared to Felix's, I always forget how deep/sexy/alluring his real voice can be. Hot damn.

(SPOILERS) I think we may see Alison's mother in the upcoming episode. Or she's at least referenced directly by Marcie.

I live in Markham! It's weird to think that the actors film so close to home. I also go to U of T, where they shot a few Cosima scenes in the first season!

Unless it's a flashforward to an old Bonnie dying after living a full and happy life, and Elena and Damon happily reuniting.

If there was 50% more Skarsgard dick and 100% more Kwantin dick, I would have been happy.

That's what I figured, though based on the flashforward, it seems like they'd be in need of his skills in Mystic Falls.

I agree with pretty much everything you said, Carrie. It was a brilliant way to both remove Elena in a way that wasn't too forced, and allow the immortal characters at least a chance to spend more time with her. The episode had some great death and gore, including the beheading, the bite, and the Liv & Tyler scene.

It only would have possibly saved him if he had used both his votes on someone else like Sierra, forcing it into a tie.

I still can't tell if they genuinely dislike one another, or just like having a little fun.

No social ability, yet had the jury's votes? I think he also believes he could have played a better game overall and have been more self-aware, but if part of being a good player is securing jury votes, then he had that.

How was she better? She alienated pretty much everyone else, while Spencer was much more likeable. In fact, based on Reddit AMAs and their comments, had Spencer gotten to the end, he would have had the jury's votes. Kass had to be separated from a few other jury members because they were so hostile. So in terms of who

That little meta moment with Schmidt was great. "I'll see you all next fall, or winter at the latest."

I like how there was an unintentional Originals tie in too. The wolves on the Originals were talking about how when the gene isn't activated (and even when it is) there is a lot of issue in curbing anger. Tyler has definitely struggled with that.

Completely agree with you. I know Reed is a dramatic person, but I'd still love to see the behind the scenes moments which made his words justified. Though I still absolutely adored his speech.

I agree with your opinion on the editing. Because I think based on Jon's reaction shot as well as others that Missy was not as popular at camp as she thought she was. There must be a disconnect between what we were shown of her and how she really was.

Wow, what an insightful piece of commentary! This is what I come to the AV club for.

To be fair to Reed, he could have had a completely different experience with Missy. She actually seems like the perfect candidate to not believe in gay marriage after undergoing multiple divorces herself. From my impression, she revealed some homophobia that may not have made it onto the show.

I think last season had some redemptive moments since there were actually some flips. In this season, you know that even though they tease flips, they won't happen. Sierra doesn't have the chutzpah to do anything interesting in this game.

I thought I recognized him! Or a younger version of him

… Jenn gave her a hug on her way out. And I stand by my comments. I think right now the jury of Joe, Hali, and Jenn would vote for either Mike or Shirin, but probably Shirin.
